Tiny Germs, Big Questions

We are surrounded by germs or microbes every day, trillions of them! Most of them are harmless and some are even helpful, but with the widespread COVID-19 pandemic and other periodic infectious disease outbreaks, more people are curious about the kinds of bacteria and viruses that can seriously affect our health and how doctors and scientists try to prevent and treat infectious diseases. This video series was filmed during the 2021-2022 school year to touch on some of the most common questions we get about the immune system, and how vaccines work to protect us from some of the germs that could make us very sick! Click on one of the topics below to learn more.
